Job summary

Uisce Éireann is recruiting a Store Operative to support Inventory management and store operations. You will ensure inventory is received, stored, picked, and delivered safely and efficiently, while complying with our safety culture and training requirements.

Based in County Limerick, the role requires forklift and warehouse skills, accuracy in data entry, and the ability to work with internal customers. A strong health & safety mindset and driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

• Secondary level education or equivalent work experience.
• Experience of working in an operations stores / warehouse environment.
• Knowledge and understanding of working within a strong health & safety culture.
• IT literacy and skills for data entry; knowledge of inventory management systems, MS Office and ERP system beneficial.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in operation of forklifts and other warehouse machinery is preferred, however full training will be provided.
• Strong problem-solving skills and drive to resolve issues promptly using initiative.
• Manual handling experience is essential with full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Adherence to policies, procedures, and internal controls as per Inventory team processes.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and participate in safety programmes.
• Undertake safety training including Safe Pass and relevant certs.
• Record and verify daily deliveries and shipments to reconcile inventory.
• Pick and assemble work orders accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure inventory is located accurately, identifiable, and accessible.
• Participate in out-of-hours emergency call-out rota as needed.
• Assist with stock taking and collaborate with internal customers to meet requirements.
• Operate relevant machinery and provide support to field teams while staying compliant with security policies.
