Corlann West Region, Galway City and County, seeks a Locum Relief Support Worker to provide personal care and assist people supported with development on Individual Plans. The role involves community participation and integration, in Centre-based or community settings.

Reporting to Staff Nurse/Team Leader, the post requires English fluency, a relevant qualification, and a full clean driving licence. Up to 39 hours weekly on a 7 day/night roster; probation applies.

Qualifications

• Good general education.
• Recognition in intellectual disability field or FETAC Level 5 is advantageous.
• Fluency in English (verbal and written) required.

Responsabilités

• Provide personal care during the day (meals, hygiene, etc.).
• Assist and support People Supported by Corlann with development on Individual Plans and outcomes.
• Support People Supported by Corlann in community participation and integration.
• Work with staff nurse/team leader on service delivery.
