Job summary

Corlann – West Region is recruiting Social Care Workers for Clonard Services (Castlerea, Ballintubber, Ballinlough, Loughglynn areas). Posts include Permanent Full-Time and Part-Time roles with flexible duties across residential, day services, and community settings.

Applicants must be CORU-registered or eligible under the Section 91 route, hold a full clean driving licence, and demonstrate fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Be registered in the Social Care Workers Register maintained by the Social Care Workers Registration Board - CORU (evidence of application status is necessary)
• Or be eligible under the Section 91 (existing practitioner) route for registration in the Social Care Workers Register maintained by CORU

Responsibilities

• Social Care Workers fulfil a key worker supportive and advocative role for adults supported by the service in all aspects of their lives.
• Develop person-centred plans and support people to make informed choices and fulfil their potential.
• Encourage participation in the community and create positive links with local groups.
