Job summary

Nixon McQuade is seeking a General Litigation Solicitor to handle a broad range of litigation matters, with emphasis on Personal Injury, Medical Negligence and Probate. The successful candidate will take early ownership of files, working autonomously within a supportive team and pursuing clear progression toward seniority and partnership.

The role offers an excellent salary and bonus structure, hybrid working with one day from home, a pension, and a path to partnership for the right individual

Qualifications

• 5+ PQE in litigation
• Experience handling Personal Injury and Medical Negligence
• Exposure to contentious Probate work
• Ability to manage own caseload
• Strong understanding of litigation practice & procedure
• Excellent drafting, organisational and time management skills
• Strong communication and client relationship management
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with colleagues

General Litigation Solicitor

€90k+ (DOE)

The Role

You will work on a broad range of litigation matters, with a particular focus on Personal Injury, Medical Negligence and Probate.

You will be given a high level of responsibility from the outset, with the autonomy to run files independently while working alongside an experienced and supportive litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to broaden their experience, develop their practice and take the next step in their career within a firm that actively promotes internal progression.

As the firm continues to grow, there will also be opportunities to contribute to business development initiatives and play a key role in the long-term success of the practice, with a genuine pathway towards seniority and partnership for the right individual.

The Person

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• 5+ PQE
• Experience managing Personal Injury and Medical Negligence matters
• Exposure to contentious Probate work;
• The ability to manage their own caseload;
• A strong understanding of litigation practice and procedure;
• Excellent drafting, organisational and time management skills;
• Strong communication and client relationship management abilities;
• The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues and support staff;
