Job summary

Nixon McQuade in Dublin is seeking a Commercial Litigation Senior Associate (5-6 PQE) to join its growing disputes team. You will work directly with Partners and advise a diverse client base on complex disputes before the Commercial Court and High Court.

The role offers significant client exposure and the chance to lead matters from inception through to resolution, developing litigation strategies through negotiation, mediation, arbitration and court proceedings.

Qualifications

• Approx. 5–6 years' PQE in Commercial Litigation or Dispute Resolution.
• Strong experience managing High Court and Commercial Court matters.
• Excellent knowledge of litigation practice and procedure.
• Experience managing a busy caseload independently.
• Strong drafting, analytical and advocacy skills.
• A commercial and solutions-focused approach to dispute resolution.
• Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
• A collaborative approach and the ambition to progress their career.

Responsibilities

Commercial Litigation Senior Associate (5-6 PQE)

An opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join a growing disputes team within a leading international law firm in Dublin.

If you are a Senior Associate looking to build your profile within a practice that handles complex, high-value and business critical disputes this is the team for you!

You will work directly alongside experienced Partners, you will advise a diverse client base on a broad range of contentious matters before the Commercial Court and High Court.

The successful candidate will gain exposure to a wide variety of disputes, including shareholder disputes, contractual disputes, injunctions, professional negligence claims and complex financial litigation. You will take ownership of matters from inception through to resolution, while developing litigation strategies through negotiation, mediation, arbitration and court proceedings.

This position offers significant client exposure and the opportunity to play a leading role in high value matters operating within the Commercial Court. You will work closely with clients on time sensitive and commercially significant disputes, providing practical and strategic advice throughout the litigation process.
