Lever, Inc. is seeking a Linux Software Engineer - Ubuntu for Next-Gen Silicon based in Ireland.

The role focuses on advancing Ubuntu across silicon generations and collaborating with global partners to optimize OS, packages, toolchains, and software ecosystems for emerging architectures. The position covers a wide range of platforms including servers, AI systems, IoT, and embedded devices, with remote work and 2–4 weeks of travel per year.

Qualifications

• Strong fundamentals in software engineering with experience delivering high-quality software.
• Proficient in C, C++, and Python.
• Experience with Linux packaging, distribution practices, and open-source involvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize Linux software across the Ubuntu stack for next-generation silicon.
• Collaborate with silicon partners to enable new architectures and optimized software experiences.
• Work across servers, AI systems, IoT, embedded devices, and HPC environments.
• Contribute to AI stacks, graphics, virtualization, containers, and hardware enablement.
• Debug issues, review contributions, and uphold quality standards.
