Job summary

European Tech Recruit is seeking a Core Platforms Systems Software Engineer to join a Cork-based semiconductor company. You will work on the Core Platform team to develop next-generation System-on-chip features for Compute, smartphone, IoT and other product areas.

Responsibilities include prototyping across driver teams, delivering embedded drivers, and designing, testing, and documenting multiple drivers for internal and external use. A strong background in Linux kernel and ARM is preferred.

Qualifications

• BSc/MSc in Engineering (CS/EE).
• SoC development or architecture background.
• In-depth Linux kernel and device driver knowledge.
• Experience in C and data structures; Linux kernel development preferred.
• Strong collaboration across multi-team projects.
• Excellent debugging skills in Linux kernel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and prototype industry leading features across device driver teams.
• Deliver embedded drivers and cross-technology features across the chipset portfolio.
• Design, test and document drivers for internal and external use.
