Abrivia Recruitment Specialists is seeking an experienced Lighting Sales Specialist to drive project opportunities across the Irish market. You will build relationships with engineers, architects, designers and end-users to deliver tailored lighting solutions.

Role focuses on consultative sales, technical credibility, and managing opportunities from specification to delivery. Travel across Ireland is expected, with a strong bonus and a reputable lighting market presence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience within the lighting industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of lighting products and applications.
• DIALux experience for lighting design or project planning (highly desirable).
• Strong relationships within the lighting, electrical, construction or specification market.
• Consultative, solutions-led approach to sales.
• Comfortable working with engineers, consultants and other technically focused stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly across the region.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities and manage relationships across the Irish market.

• Support the development of lighting designs and specifications using DIALux.

• Manage opportunities from initial specification through to project delivery.
• Develop relationships with installation partners and other key stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate pipeline and customer information using CRM systems.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Lighting Sales Specialist to join a well-established business within the professional lighting sector.

This is a senior, consultative sales role focused on developing project opportunities, building relationships with key decision-makers and delivering tailored lighting solutions across commercial, healthcare, education and workplace environments.

The successful candidate will bring strong lighting industry experience, technical credibility and the ability to work confidently with consultants, engineers, architects, contractors and end-users.

The Role:

• Develop new business opportunities and manage relationships across the Irish market.
• Build strong relationships with consulting engineers, architects, lighting designers, contractors and end-users.
• Work closely with customers to understand project requirements and recommend appropriate lighting solutions.
• Support the development of lighting designs and specifications using DIALux.
• Provide advice across lighting technology, controls, sustainability and Human-Centric Lighting.
• Manage opportunities from initial specification through to project delivery.
• Develop relationships with installation partners and other key stakeholders.
• Manage a combination of proactively generated opportunities and inbound project enquiries.
• Maintain accurate pipeline and customer information using CRM systems.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years' experience within the lighting industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of lighting products, light output and lighting applications.
• Previous experience using DIALux for lighting design or project planning is highly desirable.
• Strong existing relationships within the lighting, electrical, construction or specification market.
• A consultative, solutions-led approach to sales.
• Comfortable working with engineers, consultants and other technically focused stakeholders.
• Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
• Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce and Microsoft Office 365 would be beneficial.
• Based in Ireland and comfortable travelling regularly across the region.
