Job summary

The K Club is seeking a Leisure Manager to lead our 5-star leisure operation on-site in County Kildare. You will drive service standards, oversee gym orientation, supervise staff, and actively promote memberships and personal training to guests and members.

With 3-4 years in a luxury venue and strong budgeting/sales experience, you will partner with the Sales & Marketing teams to grow the resort’s leisure offerings and guest satisfaction across all facilities.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years' experience as an Leisure Manager within a 5 star/luxury brand outlet is advantageous.
• Strong financial acumen along with sales/merchandising inventory management experience are also required.
• Excellent people management skills with the ability to drive the team to top standards of service.

Responsibilities

• To establish and maintain the highest standards of service across all areas of the Leisure Operation.
• To ensure there is an orientation programme on the use of the gym facilities and equipment for all new members and to develop personalised fitness programmes where requested
• To develop the membership offering within the Leisure Operation
• To provide day to day supervision of Leisure staff
• To assist all guests / members with respect to Spa reservations and the use of leisure facilities in a professional and courteous manner.
• To actively sell Membership and achieve target figures
• To actively sell personal training to our members and achieve target figures.
• Prepare and deliver a combination of fitness classes daily
• To monitor all guest feedback and to implement systems to address relevant comments thus ensuring continuous guest satisfaction.
• To direct and lead the day to day Leisure operations ensuring all standards are followed.
• To train, and manage a team of dedicated professionals, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• To keep up to date on Leisure services, pricing, schedules, specials, and competitor offerings.
• To support team members in all aspects of the business operation.
• To ensure compliance with health and hygiene guidelines, maintaining cleanliness in accordance with our standards
• To assist in the recruitment, development and training of all Spa & Leisure team members.
• To act as a liaison with the Sales and Marketing team to co-ordinate all PR, sales and marketing activities.
• To initiate and instigate new ideas and avenues for growth and development.
