Job summary

The Connemara Coast Hotel invites applications for the vacant post of Leisure Centre Attendant. The successful candidate will ensure the leisure centre operates efficiently, provide excellent service to guests and members, and uphold safety and hygiene standards.

Key duties include supervising the pool and leisure area, assisting guests with equipment, cleaning and recording maintenance, handling queries and complaints, and maintaining cleanliness in reception and leisure spaces in line with

Qualifications

• Commitment to customer service – essential.
• ITEC/NCEF Gym Instructor qualification would be advantageous.
• Pool Plant qualifications would also be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Leisure Centre operates efficiently and provides excellent service to guests and members.
• Ensure safety and security of leisure centre guests at all times.
• Keep swimming pool and leisure area cleaned and maintained to required standards.
• Assist persons attending the club with exercise equipment and comfort.
• Keep reception and leisure area cleaned to hygiene standards.
• Comply with fire, safety and hygiene regulations.
• Record maintenance in leisure areas.
• Demonstrate excellent guest care at all times.
• Handle customer queries, requests and complaints according to hotel procedures.

Job description

The Connemara Coast Hotel invites applications for the vacant post of Leisure Centre Attendant.

Excellent organisational and leadership skills, a commitment to high standards, attention to detail, the drive and determination to be successful along with displaying a passion for the industry will mark out the successful candidate.

The Role Entails the following Duties:

• To ensure the Leisure Centre operates efficiently and effectively at all times and provide our guests and members with an excellent service.
• To ensure the safety and security of leisure centre guests at all times.
• To ensure the swimming pool and leisure area is cleaned and maintained to the required standards and Health and Safety regulatory standards.
• To assist persons attending the club, ensuring all are comfortable with the exercise equipment.
• To ensure the reception and leisure area is thoroughly cleaned, vacuumed and dusted daily to hygiene standards.
• To comply with all fire, safety and hygiene regulations.
• To record any maintenance within the leisure areas.
• To demonstrate consistently excellent guest care at all times.
• To handle customer queries, requests and complaints according to the hotel’s procedures.

The Successful Candidate will possess the following:
