Job summary

The Anner Hotel in Thurles is seeking a Leisure Centre Attendant for part-time or full-time roles. You will help run the leisure centre, ensure guest safety, maintain pool and facilities, and deliver excellent service to guests and members.

Essential Lifeguard qualification; Swim Teacher qualification desirable; strong commitment to customer service. The role offers access to training, staff discounts and other benefits within Windward Management’s portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Ensure leisure centre operates efficiently and provides excellent service to guests and members.
• Maintain safety and security of leisure centre guests at all times.
• Keep swimming pool and leisure area cleaned and maintained to required standards.
• Assist guests with exercise equipment and comfort.
• Ensure reception and leisure area are cleaned daily to hygiene standards.
• Comply with fire, safety and hygiene regulations.
• Record any maintenance within leisure areas.
• Demonstrate consistently excellent guest care.
• Handle customer queries and complaints according to procedures.

About The Anner Hotel

The Anner Hotel is a 4 star hotel located in Thurles, mid-way between the cities of Cork and Dublin and is only 1.5 hours from all major cities. The Role Entails the following Duties:

• To ensure the Leisure Centre operates efficiently and effectively at all times and provide our guests and members with an excellent service.

• Part time and full time roles available.

• To ensure the safety and security of leisure centre guests at all times.

• To ensure the swimming pool and leisure area is cleaned and maintained to the required standards and Health and Safety regulatory standards.

• To assist persons attending the club, ensuring all are comfortable with the exercise equipment.

• To ensure the reception and leisure area is thoroughly cleaned, vacuumed and dusted daily to hygiene standards.

• To comply with all fire, safety and hygiene regulations.

• To record any maintenance within the leisure areas.

• To demonstrate consistently excellent guest care at all times.

• To handle customer queries, requests and complaints according to the hotel’s procedures.
