Merative is seeking a Lead Engineer to redesign and modernize the Micromedex UI/UX across the portfolio. This hands‑on leadership role shapes design direction, engineering standards, and delivery practices for rapid, prototype‑to‑production cycles.

You will work with Product Management, UX Design, and Engineering to translate customer needs into validated design and production‑ready React implementations, with AI‑assisted tooling for faster delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Human‑Computer Interaction, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive software engineering experience with hands‑on leadership in UI/UX modernization and React app development.
• Deep expertise owning UI/UX architecture and engineering standards for React‑based modernization.
• Hands‑on experience with Figma, product managers, UX designers, and engineering teams.
• Strong experience applying AI across the SDLC, including generative AI, copilots, and prototyping tools.
• Backend capability with APIs, services, microservices, and security.

Responsibilities

• Own hands‑on UI/UX modernization across the Micromedex portfolio, designing, building, reviewing, and improving React product screens and design‑system implementation.
• Lead end‑to‑end movement of concepts from design to shipped product at speed.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate UI exploration, prototyping, and code quality improvements across the SDLC.
• Drive React modernization across legacy UI surfaces and ensure mobile‑ready, accessible experiences.
• Collaborate with Product Management, UX Design, Engineering, Clinical teams, and external partners to shape roadmaps.
