Merative is hiring a Lead Developer - Full Stack in Ireland to drive engineering excellence across content management, API delivery, integration services, and platform reliability.

You will perform hands-on full-stack development, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with Product, Architecture, Engineering, and DevOps teams to modernize our portfolio and ensure secure, scalable digital health solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on software development and technical leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong experience with Java, Azure, React, and CSS.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack solutions across frontend and backend services, APIs, and observability.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and secure data exchange (FHIR/SMART workflows where applicable).
• Support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, observability, and production readiness.

We are hiring a Lead Developer - Full Stack to drive engineering excellence across content management, API delivery, integration services, and platform reliability. This role focuses on hands on full-stack development and technical leadership within a modernizing product portfolio, supporting content publishing workflows, API platforms, clinical data integration, and operational reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain full-stack solutions across frontend applications, backend services, APIs, integration services, data flows, and observability. Contribute to modernization of content management and publishing capabilities. Build and maintain RESTful APIs, FHIR APIs, SMART on FHIR workflows, authentication, authorization, and secure data exchange. Support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, observability, and operational readiness. Participate in technical design reviews, architecture spikes, proofs of concept. Collaborate across Product, Architecture, Engineering, Clinical, Content, and DevOps teams. Mentor junior engineers and contractors. Contribute to technical shaping, sizing, and estimation of new work.

Required Skills

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 8+ years of hands on software development experience and technical leadership experience. Strong hands on capability across modern frontend engineering, backend services, RESTful APIs, microservices, cloud services, automated testing, CI/CD, security, observability, and production support. Proven expertise in Java, Azure, React, CSS. Strong collaboration, communication, and influence skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with healthcare interoperability, EHR integration, and secure APIs. Expertise with Figma, Claude design, Loveable Compensation.

The salary range provided in this job posting is intended to reflect the general market value for the position. The actual salary offered may vary based on factors such as the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and the specific requirements of the role. This range may also be subject to change as market conditions evolve. We encourage open communication throughout the interview process to discuss compensation expectations. For base-salary + commission sales roles, the range represents On-Target Earnings.

Min – Max : €75,808.00 - €113,712.00 (EUR)
