Job summary

Engage People Recruitment seeks a Digital Architect to lead enterprise-wide digital architecture and integration initiatives. You will drive the transformation roadmap, define standards and oversee API-led strategies across MuleSoft and Salesforce platforms, ensuring secure and scalable solutions.

You will collaborate with senior stakeholders, translate complex requirements into scalable architectures, and guide multi-team delivery using modern cloud-based patterns and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the definition and execution of the organisation’s digital transformation roadmap.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to understand business objectives and identify opportunities for technology-enabled improvements.
• Provide technical oversight and champion best practices in architecture and integration.
• Ensure effective use of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
• Oversee architectural documentation, integration diagrams and design artefacts.
• Champion data governance, API versioning and lifecycle management.
• Promote modern architectural practices, integration strategies and digital-first operating models.
• Develop end-to-end solution architectures leveraging cloud, API-led connectivity and modern integration patterns.
• Define architectural standards and guidelines for scalable system design and integration.
• Conduct architecture reviews ensuring alignment with security and compliance frameworks.
• Architect and oversee integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform with reusable, secure API-led design.
• Guide Salesforce platform architecture aligning with enterprise integration, data and security models.
• Lead adoption of modern web services, microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Provide technical leadership across project teams to ensure quality and coherence.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners and business analysts to deliver robust solutions.
• Lead technical assessments, vendor evaluations and PoCs for emerging technologies.

Job description

The Digital Architect will play a strategic and technical leadership role in designing and delivering enterprise-wide digital solutions. This role will drive transformational initiatives, define architectural standards, and ensure the seamless integration of systems across the organisation. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong business acumen, enabling them to translate complex requirements into scalable, future-ready digital architectures.

This role will ideally suit a Digitisation Expert with a background in integration tools, digital architecture and middleware. This person will be customer centric too, asking the question what process is broken? You will be on the bleeding edge of digitisation efforts – aim in to increase digitisation interactions between the business and its users.
