Responsibilities

• Lead the technical strategy and continual improvement of the enterprise application landscape.
• Develop and maintain the applications roadmap in collaboration with key business stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve business processes through technology, automation and systems integration.
• Provide technical leadership across application enhancements, upgrades and new technology initiatives.
• Ensure business applications remain secure, scalable, resilient and fit for purpose.
• Lead the design and delivery of integrations across enterprise applications.
• Design secure, scalable and maintainable integration solutions between Salesforce, ERP, CRM, eCommerce, POS and other business systems.
• Work across APIs, middleware and integration platforms to ensure reliable data exchange between systems.
• Troubleshoot complex application and integration issues by analysing interfaces, data flows and technical logs.
• Maintain technical documentation covering integrations, interfaces and solution designs.
• Drive continual improvements across the integration landscape.
• Lead technical application and integration projects from planning through to implementation.
• Coordinate technical delivery across internal teams, software vendors and implementation partners.
• Manage project timelines, risks, dependencies and technical deliverables.
• Support testing, release planning and production readiness.
• Ensure successful delivery of business-critical technology initiatives.
• Manage relationships with software vendors, implementation partners and third-party suppliers.
• Review technical solution designs and challenge suppliers where appropriate.
• Monitor supplier performance, service levels and delivery quality.
• Coordinate third-party resources across projects, enhancements and support activities.
• Ensure external partners deliver high-quality technical solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Strong software development background with an understanding of enterprise application architecture.
• Proven experience leading enterprise business applications and systems integrations.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, SOAP, JSON and XML.
• Experience working with enterprise integration platforms and middleware.
• Proven project management and technical delivery experience.

Technical Applications & Integration Lead

Location: Dublin 2 (Hybrid)

Our client is seeking an experienced Technical Applications & Integration Lead to take ownership of enterprise business applications, systems integrations and technical delivery.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role responsible for leading business applications, designing and delivering enterprise integrations, managing third-party technology vendors and driving application projects from inception through to delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a software development background and have progressed into technical leadership, with strong experience across enterprise applications, systems integration, vendor management and project delivery. You'll be comfortable discussing technical solutions with developers, designing integrations, troubleshooting complex issues and engaging with both technical and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Business Applications & Digital Platforms
