Job summary

Logitech is seeking a Design for Sustainability Specialist to drive low-carbon, lifecycle-optimised hardware development across NPI and MP. You will partner with sustainability, design, engineering and marketing to maximise product value while minimising footprint.

You will lead strategy, embed with cross-functional teams, develop technical guidelines, and mentor colleagues while advancing climate commitments. The role demands strong communication and leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in technical product development.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, materials and electronics design.
• Experience with lifecycle thinking and sustainability principles.
• Knowledge of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodologies is a plus.
• Ability to translate technical data into actionable insights.
• Proven leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the sustainable design strategy for both new product introductions and existing products, maximizing sustainable opportunities.
• Embed with cross-functional teams during early-stage development to steer low-carbon architectures.
• Identify and execute strategies to reduce carbon footprint and optimise product longevity.
• Establish technical guidelines and standards for lifecycle-conscious development.
• Drive research on sustainable design and create data-driven insights.
• Architect data-driven tools to quantify, visualise, and report product carbon footprint performance.
