Job summary

Logitech in Cork, Ireland, is seeking a Senior Product Experience Designer to craft software experiences that amplify Logitech hardware. You will work across console, automation, SDKs, and AI-powered capabilities in a hybrid role based on site three days a week in Cork.

You’ll collaborate with engineers and product teams, build interactive prototypes, and shape workflows that connect hardware with software and services for creators and power users.

The Team and Role

The Console & SDK team is responsible for defining how users interact with Logitech's workflow-focused products, extensibility platforms, developer experiences, and future ecosystem capabilities. Our portfolio includes products such MX Creative Keypad, MX Creative Dialpad, workflow automation experiences, developer SDKs, plugin ecosystems, integrations, and future AI-powered productivity tools. We are looking for an innovative Senior Product Experience Designer who is passionate about creating software experiences that amplify the value of Logitech hardware. You are a systems-oriented thinker who enjoys solving complex interaction challenges and simplifying them into intuitive experiences. You understand that great experiences emerge from the combination of hardware, software, AI, and connected ecosystem services. You are equally comfortable designing device customization experiences, workflow tools, automation systems, SDK experiences, developer-facing tools, and AI-powered capabilities. You embrace modern design workflows and enjoy building interactive prototypes, experimenting with AI-assisted design tools, and collaborating directly with engineers to bring ideas to life.

In this role, you will:

• Design Console Experiences Design software experiences for MX Creative Keypad, MX Creative Dialpad, and future workflow-focused Logitech products. Create intuitive experiences that help users discover, customize, and master their devices. Design scalable interaction patterns that seamlessly connect physical controls with software experiences.
• Shape Productivity & Creative Workflows Design experiences that help users work faster, automate repetitive tasks, and unlock new ways of working. Explore interaction models that combine hardware, software intelligence, and contextual workflows. Create experiences that support creators, professionals, developers, and power users across a variety of applications and platforms.
• Build Ecosystem & Extensibility Experiences Design integrations, plugins, actions, SDK experiences, and extensibility frameworks that connect Logitech products to broader user workflows. Help define how Logitech products interact with third-party applications, services, AI models, and developer ecosystems. Contribute to experiences that enable developers, partners, and creators to build on top of Logitech platforms.
• Drive Innovation Through AI Explore future concepts around AI, automation, personalization, workflow acceleration, and intelligent experiences. Design AI-powered features that feel useful, trustworthy, and intuitive. Partner with engineering teams to explore emerging technologies and new interaction paradigms.
• Leverage Modern Design & Prototyping Workflows Use AI-powered design tools and modern prototyping workflows to accelerate exploration, validation, and communication. Build interactive prototypes that help teams evaluate ideas before development. Leverage tools such as Claude Code, Replit, Cursor, Figma Make, or similar platforms to move rapidly from concepts to working experiences. Help evolve Logitech's design practices through new design‑engineering and AI-assisted workflows.
• Collaborate & Influence Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Researchers, Hardware Designers, and Business stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle. Present design work clearly and confidently to teams and senior leadership. Advocate for user‑centered solutions by balancing business goals, technical constraints, and customer needs. Facilitate cross‑functional ideation sessions and workshops.

Key Qualifications

• Design Excellence Strong UX design experience with expertise in consumer-facing desktop and mobile software applications. Deep understanding of interaction design, information architecture, and systems thinking. Proven ability to simplify complex technical concepts into intuitive user experiences. Strong visual design skills with an understanding of typography, hierarchy, motion, and interface design. Skilled in creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity experiences. Experience designing accessible products and applying WCAG guidelines. Ability to work across multiple levels of fidelity, from concept exploration to production-ready design.
• Systems & Ecosystem Thinking Experience designing software experiences that connect hardware, software, services, and ecosystems. Ability to think holistically across end-to-end user journeys and product ecosystems. Interest in workflow automation, productivity tools, extensibility platforms, developer experiences, and connected services.
• AI & Modern Design Workflows Experience leveraging AI-powered tools as part of the design process. Familiarity with modern design‑engineering and rapid prototyping workflows. Experience with tools such as Claude Code, Replit, Cursor, Figma Make, Lovable, Bolt, or similar platforms is highly desirable. Comfortable building interactive prototypes that go beyond traditional wireframes and static mockups. Interest in agentic workflows, AI-assisted development, automation, and emerging design technologies. Ability to rapidly explore, validate, and communicate ideas through working prototypes.
• Technical & Tools Advanced proficiency in Figma including Components, Variables, Design Systems, Prototyping, and Dev Mode. Experience creating interactive prototypes using both design and code-based approaches. Basic coding skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Swift, Python, or similar technologies are a strong plus. Understanding of software development processes and engineering workflows. Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and contribute to design‑engineering discussions.
• Communication & Collaboration Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills. Experience presenting design work to cross‑functional teams and stakeholders. Ability to thrive in collaborative, multidisciplinary environments. Comfortable navigating ambiguity and solving open-ended problems. A strong point of view with a healthy dose of humility.
• Portfolio A portfolio demonstrating systems thinking, interaction design excellence, visual craftsmanship, and your ability to solve complex software challenges. We want to see examples of: Complex software applications. Hardware and software experiences. Workflow, automation, or ecosystem thinking. AI‑powered or emerging technology experiences. Interactive prototypes and design‑engineering work. Your design process and how you move from problem definition to solution.
