Job summary

Logitech is seeking a Design for Sustainability Specialist to drive the sustainable design strategy across new products and existing lines, aligning with hardware, engineering and marketing to maximise value and minimize footprint.

You will embed with cross-functional teams early in development to steer architectures toward low-carbon solutions, while mentoring colleagues and advancing lifecycle-conscious practices across the organisation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technical product development with broad hardware lifecycle experience.
• Deep knowledge of mechanical, materials and electronics design and their impact on sustainability.
• Lifecycle thinking and sustainable design principles for carbon reduction.
• Experience with Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) is a distinct advantage.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead sustainable design strategy for NPI and MP with maximized opportunities.
• Embed with cross-functional teams to guide low-carbon architectures.
• Identify strategies to reduce carbon footprint and extend product longevity.
• Establish guidelines to streamline lifecycle-conscious development.
• Drive research to create actionable sustainability insights for product teams.
• Architect data-driven tools to quantify and report product carbon footprint.
• Conduct technical analyses to evolve sustainable design approaches.
• Mentor colleagues and foster accountability for climate commitments.
