Logitech is seeking a Design for Sustainability Specialist to lead low-carbon design across new and existing products, partnering with sustainability, engineering, marketing and design teams. Qualifications

• 5+ years in technical product development with a broad understanding of the full hardware lifecycle.
• Deep knowledge of mechanical, materials and electronics design and how they influence sustainability.
• Lifecycle thinking and sustainable design principles with carbon reduction focus.
• Experience with Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodologies is advantageous.
• Systems thinking to apply strategies beyond basic material swaps.

Responsibilities

• Lead the sustainable design strategy for new product introductions (NPI) and existing products (MP).
• Embed with cross-functional teams during early-stage development to steer architectural decisions for low-carbon designs.
• Identify and execute strategies to reduce carbon footprint, extend product longevity and optimise end-of-life recovery.
• Establish technical guidelines and standards for lifecycle-conscious development across the organisation.
• Drive research on sustainable design to create insights for product development teams.
• Architect data-driven tools to quantify, visualize and report product carbon footprint and circular design.
• Conduct rigorous hardware analyses to evolve sustainable design approaches.
• Mentor and align colleagues across functions to achieve climate commitments.
