Job summary

Uniphar's McCauleys Fairgreen Pharmacy in Carlow is seeking a Supervising Pharmacist for a 45-hour-per-week, permanent position. The role supports a team including a Store Manager, an Assistant Store Manager, 2 Support Pharmacists and 6 Pharmacy Technicians, with a focus on maintaining professional standards and effective patient care.

Key duties include compliance with the Pharmacy Act 2007, involvement in health-promotion programs, and ensuring stock control and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Observe statutory regulations related to the supply of medicines under Pharmacy Act 2007.
• Maintain professional standards in the community pharmacy.
• Participate in Health Promotion programs and pharmaceutical care initiatives.
• Engage in Continuing Education to support ongoing professional development.
• Implement company policies and standard operating procedures.
• Ensure stock control accuracy and proper receipt/documentation of goods and services.
