Job summary

Allcare Pharmacy in Merrion is hiring a Supervising Pharmacist for a 45-hour week, permanent role. Store hours are 9 a.m.–7 p.m., Monday to Saturday, closed Sundays. Team includes Store Manager, Relief Pharmacist, Technician and Healthcare Advisors.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years as a Supervising Pharmacist is highly advantageous.
• Member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland, with a minimum of 3 years post-registration experience.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Ensure stock control and proper receipt/documentation of all dispensed goods.
• Maintain a proper professional standard of the community pharmacy and health promotion programmes.
• Participate in Continuing Education to support ongoing professional development.
• Implement policies and procedures as set by Allcare Pharmacy and SOPs.
• Ensure security of stock and safety of staff and customers in conjunction with the pharmacy manager.
• Adhere to Health and Safety at Work Act and confidentiality of business information.
• Support the pharmacy manager in maintaining store retail standards including category management, merchandising and stock control.
• Stay up to date with legislation and PSI guidance.
