Allcare Pharmacy on O'Connell Street is hiring a Supervising Pharmacist for a 45-hour permanent role. The position offers responsibilities in maintaining professional standards, stock control, and compliance with the Pharmacy Act 2007.

The successful candidate will be PSI-registered with 3+ years post-registration experience, demonstrating leadership, communication, and teamwork in a busy community pharmacy setting. Sundays are premium-rate shifts; training and pension benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be a current member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland.
• Post-registration experience of 3+ years is required.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with the Pharmacy Act 2007 and all statutory regulations.
• Maintain professional standards in the community pharmacy and support Health Promotion initiatives.
• Participate in continuing education to enhance professional development.
• Support the pharmacy manager in policy implementation and store operations.
• Oversee stock control, security of stock and safe handling of pharmaceuticals.
• Maintain confidentiality of business details and handle DOH schemes (e.g., DPS, LTI, GMS) accurately.
