Job summary

Cloud Software Group is seeking a Senior Citrix DaaS and Microsoft Azure presales specialist to lead technical engagements for enterprise customers, including product demonstrations, architecture sessions, and PoCs.

You will tailor guidance to customer priorities, build ROI-based business cases, model cloud costs, enable field and partners, and share customer insights to shape the DaaS roadmap, with travel up to 30%.

Qualifications

• Deep Citrix DaaS and Azure expertise (AVD, Entra ID, VNETs, ExpressRoute) and Azure storage strategies.
• 7+ years in technical presales, solution architecture, or sales engineering in VDI/DaaS or Cloud.
• Proven cloud migration experience from on-prem to public cloud.
• Strong ROI modeling for hybrid-cloud vs native solutions.
• Broad knowledge of Identity Management, Enterprise Security, Endpoint Management, and observability.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to C-level and engineers.
• Certifications preferred: AZ-140, AZ-305, CCE-V/CCP-V.
• Willingness to travel ~30% in North America.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
• English required; German or French a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical engagements from presentation to initial adoption, including demos, architecture sessions, and PoCs.
• Provide tailored guidance aligning solutions to customer priorities and building ROI-based business cases.
• Manage end-to-end technical validation with PoCs and demonstrate Citrix + Azure stack advantages.
• Enable field, partners and customers as SME for Cloud & DaaS capabilities and Azure/Windows 365 workloads.
• Share customer insights to shape the Citrix DaaS roadmap with Product Management.
• Ensure account alignment with accurate CRM details and milestones.

About This Team

The Cloud & DaaS Specialist team is a specialized technical presales function within theCitrixDaaS productorganization. We are focused on thesuccessful adoption ofour cloud services, specifically targeting the migration of on-premises workloads to Microsoft Azure. This team aligns closely withCitrix field teams,Microsoft’sown field teams,CitrixPartners, and our core Citrix Product groups. Our mission is toremove barriers to customer acceptance and adoption of priority Citrix DaaS capabilities,provide expert levelexpertiseon cloud migration considerations incomplex enterprise environments, and accelerate the consumption of Citrix DaaS and Azure resources.

Responsibilities

• Lead Technical Engagements:Drive the technicallifecycleof priority Citrix DaaS solutionsfrom presentation throughinitialadoption, including delivering high-impact product demonstrations, leading architectural sessions, and managing Proof of Concepts (PoCs).

• ProvideTailored Guidance: Act as a trusted advisor by aligning solutions to customer priorities, building compelling ROI-based business cases,establishingdeployment and adoption milestones, and mitigating complex technical challenges ininitialcustomer onboarding

• Manage Technical Validation:Own the end-to-end technical validation process. This involves defining success criteria, guiding customers through Proof-of-Concept (PoC) deployments, and proving the performance and security advantages of the Citrix + Azure stack.

• Enable the Field, Partners, and Customers:Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for the broaderCitrixecosystem, providing training on the latest Cloud & DaaS capabilitiesand the specific technical and business advantages of using Citrixto manage Azure and Windows 365 workloads

• Share Customer Insights:Capture market trends,adoption blockers, and competitive intelligence fromcustomersand communicate these insights to Product Management to shape the future of theCitrixDaaSroadmap.

• EnsureAccount Alignment:Maintainaccuratecustomer details plans and progress updates in core CRM, ensuring cross-team alignment and progress on adoption milestones.

Experience & Skills

• Deep Citrix & AzureExpertise:Expert-level knowledge ofCitrix DaaS,deep technicalproficiencywithMicrosoft Azure, including Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD),Entra ID, Azure Networking (VNETs, ExpressRoute, Peering), and Azure Storage strategies.

• Presales Experience:7+ years of experience in a technical presales, solution architecture, or sales engineering role, specifically within the VDI/DaaS or Cloud Infrastructure space.

• Cloud Architecture Patterns:Proventrack recordof designing and migrating complex enterprise workloads from on-premises datacenters to public cloud infrastructure.

• Commercial Acumen:Ability to model cloud costsand articulate the Return on Investment (ROI) of hybrid-cloud models vs. native solutions.

• Broad Understanding of the Ecosystem:Identity Management (SAML, OAuth, MFA),Enterprise Security (Zero Trust, SASE),Endpoint Management (Intune,SCCM,thin client),Observability and Monitoring(DEX, IT Ops)

• Communication Mastery:Excellent presentation and whiteboarding skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to C-level executives and deep technical engineers alike.

• Certifications(Preferred)Microsoft Certified: Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty (AZ-140) or Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305),Citrix Certified Expert/Professional (CCE-V, CCP-V) or DaaS Service certifications.

• Agility & Travel:Ability to work in a fast-paced, competitive environment and travel within the North American region to customer sites and industry events (~30%).

• Education:Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or relevant industry experience.
