Job summary

Social Discovery Group (SDG) is seeking a Lead QA Engineer (AI Native) to join a new product. This remote, individual contributor role focuses on designing and owning end-to-end testing for a product largely written by AI agents, ensuring reliability of critical financial flows.

You will define the quality strategy, set up cross-browser UI testing, work with engineers and DevOps to embed quality, and drive proactive quality initiatives in a small senior team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building and owning testing processes in large, complex products with high reliability.
• Strong engineering background: system architecture, backend services, CI/CD and deployment.
• Hands-on experience with test automation and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Daily use of AI coding agents (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or similar) as a core part of your work.
• High autonomy and ownership: take loosely defined problems, propose solutions and drive to completion.
• Willingness to work as a hands-on individual contributor in a small senior team.
• Fluent in Russian.

Responsibilities

• Design and build end-to-end testing pipeline for AI-written product: pre-merge checks, nightly tests, release gates.
• Define quality strategy for AI-generated code: assess risks, coverage needs, sustainability at scale.
• Set up automated UI testing across browsers and mobile devices, integrating external tools.
• Own product reliability focusing on critical financial flows.
• Collaborate with engineers and DevOps to embed quality into development.
• Use AI agents to create, maintain and evolve tests and tooling.
• Drive quality initiatives and share best practices with the team.
