Job summary

Brightwater Recruitment represents a well-established Irish medical device client seeking a Senior Process Engineer in Dublin. You will lead a team of technicians providing direct support to production and maintenance, using data-driven methods to resolve process issues and optimise uptime.

The role requires 10+ years in a similar position with hands-on equipment experience, strong people management, and a track record in regulated high‑volume manufacturing.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years’ experience in a similar role with people management.
  • Hands-on equipment experience in high-volume regulated manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of technicians to provide direct support to production and maintenance teams.
  • Take a data-driven approach to investigation and resolution of process issues.
  • Regularly review PM schedules to mitigate equipment failure and improve uptime.
  • Collaborate with material suppliers to ensure machine/process capability and stability.
  • Lead CAPA and complaint investigations.
  • Own change control processes and ensure documentation/approvals.
  • Lead training and development of technicians, conduct performance reviews, ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
