Job summary

Brightwater Recruitment represents a well-established Irish medical device client seeking a Senior Process Engineer in Dublin. You will lead a team of technicians providing direct support to production and maintenance, using data-driven methods to resolve process issues and optimise uptime.

The role requires 10+ years in a similar position with hands-on equipment experience, strong people management, and a track record in regulated high‑volume manufacturing.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of technicians to provide direct support to production and maintenance teams.
• Take a data-driven approach to investigation and resolution of process issues.
• Regularly review PM schedules to mitigate equipment failure and improve uptime.
• Collaborate with material suppliers to ensure machine/process capability and stability.
• Lead CAPA and complaint investigations.
• Own change control processes and ensure documentation/approvals.
• Lead training and development of technicians, conduct performance reviews, ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Our client is a well-established member of the Irish medical device sector producing a range of products at their Dublin site. They are looking to hire a Senior Process Engineer with hands-on equipment and leadership experience in a regulated high-volume manufacturing environment to join their growing team. About the Position

• As a Senior Process Engineer, your job will be leading a team of technicians to provide direct support to production and maintenance teams.
• Taking a data-driven approach to investigation and resolution of process issues.
• Regularly reviewing PM schedules to ensure they mitigate equipment failure and improving uptime.
• Working closely with material suppliers to ensure machine/process capability to maintain stability and process uptime.
• Leading CAPA and complaint investigations.
• Owning change control processes and ensuring appropriate documentation/approvals are carried out.
• Leading training and development of technicians, carry out performance reviews, and ensuring work is conducted in line with safety and regulatory requirements.

Experience/Requirements

• For this Senior Process Engineer job, you will have 10+ years’ experience in a similar position as well as people management experience.
• You will also have a relevant third level engineering qualification (mechanical engineering would be advantageous).
