Job summary

Embecta Corp. in Dun Laoghaire, Ireland, is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to lead a team in a high-volume, fully automated manufacturing environment producing Pen Needle products.

You will drive process improvements, manage CAPA investigations, and ensure adherence to quality and regulatory requirements while mentoring technicians and coordinating with development and maintenance teams. This role requires a strong data-driven approach, LEAN methods, and extensive experience with automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required.
• 10 years process engineering experience with people management.
• Experience with high speed automation.
• Experience with precision mechanical setup.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills (Six Sigma or equivalent).
• Familiarity with equipment validation and documentation in regulated environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers/technicians to support production and maintenance; resolve daily issues and assist with troubleshooting.
• Drive data-driven investigations to resolve process issues and improve equipment uptime.
• Standardize and optimize equipment setup; upgrade equipment to improve process capability.
• Review preventive maintenance schedules and drive improvements to reduce downtime.
• Collaborate with suppliers and development teams to ensure robust process windows and handover to production.
• Lead QN, Customer Complaint and CAPA investigations and ensure change control documentation is followed.
• Mentor technicians in process engineering areas and conduct performance reviews.
