Job summary

RecruitmentPlus on behalf of our client invites applications for a permanent role in Co. Louth with a leading engineering organisation specialising in water and wastewater solutions across Ireland and the UK.

You will lead the mechanical scope of wastewater and water infrastructure projects from design through installation, commissioning and handover. Working within an integrated project delivery team, you will coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors and regulators, ensure safety

Qualifications

• Around 5+ years experience in a similar water/wastewater role.
• Level 8 Honours Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Science, or Chemistry.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations (Construction Regulations 2013).
• Experience in mechanical engineering works.
• Ability to engage with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors in negotiations.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and MS Project.
• Full Driving License.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical scope of wastewater and water projects from design to handover.
• Coordinate with integrated project delivery team to ensure 'one team' culture.
• Plan and execute mechanical works across plants, pipelines, and installations.
• Ensure safety, environmental, and sustainability standards are met.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and regulators.
• Oversee installation and integration of mechanical process equipment.
• Mentor team members and support tendering activities.
