Job summary

GEDON™ | Precision Search for Complex Construction is seeking a senior delivery professional to lead mechanical packages for data centre projects in Sweden. The role offers significant autonomy, with a rotation package balancing on-site work in Sweden and longer periods at home.

You will drive subcontractor management, programme delivery and commercial oversight on technically complex builds, shaping processes from the ground up within a growing European operation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience delivering large-scale mechanical building services packages.
• Background in data centres or other technically complex environments preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical installation across HVAC, cooling and pipework systems.
• Proven subcontractor management, programme delivery and commercial oversight experience.
• Experience coordinating testing and commissioning on complex projects.
• Comfortable working autonomously in a growing business and building processes from the ground up.
• Willingness to work on a rotational basis in Sweden.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of large-scale mechanical packages on data centre projects from mobilisation to commissioning and handover.
• Manage mechanical installation programmes, resources and supply chain to meet milestones.
• Coordinate subcontractors and ensure quality, safety and programme performance.
• Coordinate testing and commissioning with main contractors and client representatives.
• Maintain commercial oversight including cost control, forecasting and variations.
• Act as senior point of contact for clients, main contractors and design teams.
• Help establish project processes and local supply chain relationships in Sweden.
• Lead and develop site teams including engineers and supervisors.
