Job summary

Global Professional Consultants is seeking an experienced Mechanical Lead to join its Data Centre team in Dublin. Take ownership of the mechanical design and delivery of large-scale data centre and mission-critical projects, working with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

The role focuses on HVAC and building services, from concept to detailed design and delivery. There is a relocation opportunity to Scandinavia for the right candidate.

Mechanical Lead – Data Centres
Dublin | Relocation Opportunity to Scandinavia

A leading international engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Mechanical Lead to join its growing Data Centre team. This is an opportunity to take ownership of the mechanical design and delivery of large-scale data centre and mission-critical projects, working alongside experienced multidisciplinary engineering teams.

The successful candidate will provide senior technical input across HVAC and mechanical building services, overseeing projects from early-stage concept and design development through to detailed design and delivery. For an exceptional candidate, there is also the opportunity to relocate to one of the company’s Scandinavian offices.

Responsibilities:

• Lead mechanical design and engineering for data centre projects from concept through to detailed design and delivery.
• Manage HVAC and mechanical building services, including calculations, specifications, technical reports and design documentation.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant standards, regulations and client requirements.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, clients, contractors and other stakeholders.
