Job summary

Global Professional Consultants in Sweden is seeking a Mechanical Commissioning Engineer to lead the commissioning of mechanical systems on a major project. The role requires coordinating with subcontractors and engineering teams to ensure safe, compliant, and timely delivery of commissioning activities.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in commissioning, strong mechanical engineering background, and experience on mission-critical projects such as data centres or pharma facilities.

Qualifications

• Degree or qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering, or a relevant technical discipline.
• 3+ years’ experience in a Commissioning Engineer or similar role.
• Strong experience in mechanical commissioning, ideally within Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, Industrial or other mission-critical projects.
• Strong understanding of commissioning processes, testing procedures and project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate commissioning activities across mechanical systems, ensuring works are delivered safely and in line with project requirements.
• Develop and manage commissioning plans, schedules, documentation and testing procedures.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, engineering teams and the wider project team to ensure systems are ready for testing and commissioning.
• Monitor inspections, testing and commissioning activities, ensuring all works meet quality standards and client specifications.
• Identify and resolve technical issues during commissioning, coordinating with relevant project teams and subcontractors.
• Support integrated systems testing, client demonstrations, handover and final project close-out activities.
