Job summary

Global Professional Consultants seeks a Mechanical Project Manager to lead a Sweden-based data centre project, coordinating with site management and delivery teams to oversee all mechanical installations through the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have a mechanical degree or trade background, 5+ years in a senior PM role on data centre or large-scale builds, and strong site coordination capabilities, with EU passport or EU work eligibility.

Qualifications

• Mechanical degree or trade background.
• 5+ years previous experience in a Mechanical Project Manager role or similar senior site-based position.
• Data Centre project experience essential. General Contractor experience highly advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical construction processes and site coordination.
• EU Passport or eligibility to work in Germany is essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall project delivery, coordinating day-to-day activities to ensure key milestones and programme targets are achieved.
• Coordinate subcontractors, site teams, and project stakeholders to maintain progress and resolve issues.
• Monitor project performance, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Lead site coordination, progress, and client meetings, providing regular updates on project status.
• Work closely with engineering and project teams to identify and resolve construction, technical, and programme issues.
• Oversee QA/QC, health & safety, commercial progress, snagging, and handover activities.

Mechanical Project Manager required to join one of Europe’s leading Tier 1 Main Contractors on a large-scale Data Centre project in Sweden. The successful candidate will work closely with the site management and project delivery teams to oversee electrical construction activities across the project lifecycle.
