Weltec Engineering Ltd invites an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team on a major client site in Kildare. The role focuses on managing commercial delivery, cost control, and value realization for mechanical and electrical packages.

You will review BIM BOMs and IFC documentation, prepare pricing, and handle change management, subcontracts, and commercial reporting. A strong background in M&E contracting is essential for success.

Formación

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or a related discipline.
• Minimum five years' experience in an M&E Quantity Surveying role within a contracting environment.
• Strong understanding of commercial management principles, contracts, procurement and change management.

Responsabilidades

• Manage commercial delivery of mechanical and electrical work packages from award to final account.
• Procurement management for subcontract, supplier and plant packages.
• Review BIM BOMs, IFC docs, drawings and BOQs for commercial accuracy and risk mitigation.
• Prepare IFC pricing using BIM quantities, SORs and project pricing.
• Manage change through the project lifecycle, including variations and negotiations with the client QS.
• Prepare monthly valuations, cost reports, forecasts and cash flow projections.
• Monitor project costs, productivity, procurement commitments and forecast expenditure.
