• 5+ years' Quantity Surveying experience in construction.
• Experience in commercial fit-out or interiors preferred.
• Experience in complex or regulated environments is beneficial.
• Knowledge of subcontract and main contract forms, including NEC and bespoke terms.
• MSCSI/MRICS desirable or working towards.

Our client is a specialist internal fit-out contractor delivering complex packages within controlled and regulated environments. Its work demands precision, compliance and a high standard of finish, and the business has earned a strong reputation for delivering in exactly these conditions.

Operating across Ireland and Europe, the company works with leading main contractors and end clients in sectors such as data centres, life sciences and advanced manufacturing. Repeat business and a healthy order book have driven consistent growth.

As the business continues to expand, it is building out its commercial capability and is looking for a talented Quantity Surveyor to take a lead role and grow with the company.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT & PROJECTS

You will take commercial lead responsibility on technically complex fit-out packages, working closely with project directors, contract managers and site teams. The projects are fast-moving and detail-driven, offering excellent exposure to the commercial realities of mission-critical delivery.

The team is close-knit and supportive, with senior leaders who are accessible and invested in developing their people. You will have the autonomy to manage your own packages from tender through to final account, with the backing of an experienced leadership team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Take commercial lead on fit-out packages from tender and pre-contract through to final account
• Prepare cost plans, valuations, cost reports and cash flow forecasts
• Manage subcontract procurement, orders and payments
• Identify, price and agree variations, and manage change control effectively
• Review contract terms and highlight commercial risks and opportunities
• Maintain strong working relationships with main contractors, clients and the supply chain
• Support project teams with accurate commercial reporting and margin protection

WHAT YOU NEED

• 5+ years' Quantity Surveying experience within the construction industry
• Background in commercial fit-out or interiors preferred; candidates from a general building background will also be considered
• Experience on complex or regulated environments is beneficial but not essential
• Sound knowledge of subcontract and main contract forms, including NEC and bespoke terms
• Strong numerical, negotiation and reporting skills
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline; working towards or holding MSCSI/MRICS is desirable
