Job summary

Designer Group, a leading international mechanical and electrical provider headquartered in Dublin, seeks a Senior Quantity Surveyor (Electrical) to lead tender compilation, procurement strategy, and cost-control activities on major M&E projects.

You will manage subcontractor terms, prepare risk analyses, and support monthly commercial reporting. A strong client relationship focus and 5+ years’ relevant experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with cross-functional personnel.
• Attention to detail with an analytical approach and initiative.
• Minimum 5+ years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor (Electrical) is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tender documentation and procurement strategy.
• Evaluate sub-contract terms with focus on risk, program, and design responsibility.
• Produce monthly cost control reports highlighting committed costs and forecasts.
