Job summary

Flex is seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator in Dundalk, Ireland, reporting to the Logistics Manager. You will drive continuous improvement in logistics operations, coordinating drivers and fleets and ensuring compliance with transport policies and customs procedures.

The role supports both domestic and international shipments within a growing organization. Flex offers a dynamic, inclusive environment with opportunities for development and exposure to global supply chains.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable logistics experience, including team leadership.
• Proficiency in MS Office with strong Excel skills.
• Experience coordinating shipping agents, freight forwarders and bookings.
• Good problem-solving abilities both individually and in a team.
• Ability to adapt quickly and make decisions under pressure.
• Familiarity with ERP/WMS systems and logistics processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate a team of drivers and vehicles to improve efficiency.
• Manage dispatching, routing and tracking of delivery vehicles.
• Ensure compliance with transport policies and load security.
• Provide leadership for logistics activities to meet customer needs.
• Control imports/exports and customs compliance.
• Maintain transport fleet records and POD follow-ups.
• Assist in Logistics Manager's absence and support H&S investigations.
• Identify operational issues and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare domestic delivery notes and international export docs.
