Job summary

Flex is seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator in Dundalk, Ireland, reporting to the Logistics Manager. You will drive continuous improvement in logistics operations, coordinating drivers and fleets and ensuring compliance with transport policies and customs procedures.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable logistics experience, including team leadership.
• Proficiency in MS Office with strong Excel skills.
• Experience coordinating shipping agents, freight forwarders and bookings.
• Good problem-solving abilities both individually and in a team.
• Ability to adapt quickly and make decisions under pressure.
• Familiarity with ERP/WMS systems and logistics processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate a team of drivers and vehicles to improve efficiency.
• Manage dispatching, routing and tracking of delivery vehicles.
• Ensure compliance with transport policies and load security.
• Provide leadership for logistics activities to meet customer needs.
• Control imports/exports and customs compliance.
• Maintain transport fleet records and POD follow-ups.
• Assist in Logistics Manager's absence and support H&S investigations.
• Identify operational issues and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare domestic delivery notes and international export docs.

Job Summary: Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, Axiom, with the spin planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support Axiom, a company focused on critical digital infrastructure and delivering end‑to‑end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centres and other mission‑critical applications.

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an experienced Logistics Coordinator located in Dundalk, Ireland. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the Logistics Coordinator will play a key role within the Supply Chain department. You will be responsible for driving Continuous Improvement Programmes throughout the business and will have knowledge of the day‑to‑day operations of Logistics.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Co‑ordinating a team of drivers and vehicles, to reduce movements & improve efficiency.
• Responsibility for all the dispatching, routing and tracking of delivery vehicles.
• Ensuring company compliance of all transport policies, legislation and procedures, including securing the load for transport.
• Provide leadership and direction for all logistics activities to ensure compliance with customer and company requirements are met at the best value.
• Manage and control all imports and exports ensuring compliance with customs regulations / procedures.
• Ensuring that all transport fleet vehicles are properly maintained and serviced.
• Maintaining accurate administrative records, including following up the PODs.
• Help lead the team in the Logistics Manager's absence.
• Responsibility for all H&S investigations involving transport.
• Identifying operational issues, potential problems and opportunities.
• Preparation of domestic delivery notes & international export documentation.

Knowledge and Skills Required

• Demonstrable Logistics experience (ideally with experience of managing employees).
• Proficient in all MS Office programmes, strong on Excel.
• Experience in managing shipping agents, freight forwarders and booking freight.
• Great problem‑solving skills, individually and within a team.
• Ability to work flexibly and to make decisions quickly.
• Good knowledge of ERP/WMS.
• Strong organisational skills for planning schedules, journeys and loads under pressure whilst maintaining customer demands.

APICS/IIPMM/Logistics Qualification‑Desirable
