Job summary

Ryanair Group Holdings is seeking a Lead Line Maintenance Project Engineer to drive line maintenance projects across our base network. You will ensure safety, airworthiness and regulatory compliance while coordinating with Safety, Compliance Monitoring and CAMO teams.

The role requires extensive experience in Part-145/Part-CAMO environments, strong leadership and the ability to travel across stations. You will oversee base capability, tooling and records and lead continuous-improvement

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years in an EASA Part-145 and/or Part-CAMO environment.
  • Strong knowledge of EASA Part-145, Part-CAMO interfaces and MOE requirements.
  • Experience with risk assessment, Management of Change, incident investigation, root-cause analysis and corrective-action.
  • Solid understanding of human factors, Just Culture and maintenance error management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder-management and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to interpret and apply regulations, manuals and technical procedures.
  • Willingness to travel across the Line Maintenance network.
  • Engineering qualification and/or EASA Part-66 licence.
  • Project management, SMS, auditing or safety investigation qualifications.
  • Leadership experience within Line Maintenance.
  • Experience with contracted maintenance providers and international stations.

  • Drive accountability and high performance among Line Maintenance staff.

Job description

Ryanair is currently recruiting for a Lead Line Maintenance Project Engineer to Europe's Largest Airline Group.

This is an excellent time to join Ryanair as we look to grow to over 800 aircraft and 300m guests per year within the next 10 years.

Lead Line Maintenance projects and provide oversight across the organisation’s Part-145 base network, ensuring the highest standards of safety, airworthiness and regulatory compliance. Act as the key operational interface between Line Maintenance, Safety, Compliance Monitoring and CAMO.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Project Engineers in delivering Line Maintenance, safety, compliance and continuous-improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure projects and operational changes comply with EASA Part-145, the Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) and company procedures.
  • Apply Safety Management System principles, including hazard identification, risk assessment, Management of Change and mitigation monitoring.
  • Act as the primary Line Maintenance liaison with Safety and Compliance Monitoring.
  • Review base capability, including personnel competence, facilities, tooling, maintenance data, materials and technical records.
  • Support the introduction of new bases, capabilities, aircraft types, systems and procedures.
  • Coordinate responses to audits and safety investigations, including root-cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions.
  • Monitor safety reports, maintenance errors, audit findings and performance trends, escalating significant risks.
  • Monitor Project Engineers and Line Maintenance personnel, driving accountability and high performance.
Qualifications
  • At least five years’ experience in an EASA Part-145 and/or Part-CAMO environment.
  • Strong knowledge of EASA Part-145, Part-CAMO interfaces and applicable MOE requirements.
  • Knowledge of risk assessment, Management of Change, occurrence investigation, root-cause analysis and corrective-action management.
  • Strong understanding of human factors, Just Culture and maintenance error management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder-management and decision‑making skills.
  • Ability to interpret and apply regulations, approved manuals and technical procedures.
