Job summary

A leading security services provider is seeking a Lead Security Control Room Operator in Shannon, Ireland. The role involves full command of security operations across multiple sites, requiring strong incident management skills and effective coordination under pressure. Ideal candidates will have over 5 years in a control room and proven supervisory experience, coupled with excellent communication skills. The position offers a competitive hourly rate of €28.00 and a 24/7 rotational shift pattern, ensuring an engaging work environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in a security control room or SOC environment.
• 2+ years in a supervisory or lead operator role.
• Experience managing live security incidents.
• Strong working knowledge of CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
• PSA licence (or eligibility to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Act as on-shift authority for all security incidents.
• Lead incidents end-to-end: detection, validation, escalation, coordination, containment, resolution, and review.
• Direct on-site response teams and allocate resources effectively.
• Liaise with emergency services and law enforcement.
• Maintain command logs and ensure a full audit trail.
