Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking an Alternative Investments Accountant in Ireland to perform NAV calculations, oversee fund accounting activities, and ensure GAAP-compliant reporting across multiple client relationships. You will coordinate with investment teams, prepare statements, and contribute to accurate financial disclosures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 2–5 years of related fund accounting experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Calculate net asset value (NAV) and review work of other fund accountants.
• Provide supervision, training, and ensure deadlines are met.
• Act as primary fund accountant for multiple relationships in GAAP-compliant reporting.
• Record trade information, income/expense activity and valuations.
• Enter and reconcile investor contributions/ withdrawals in accounting systems.
• Allocate fund profits to investors for statements and distributions.
• Review fund expenses and processing; prepare financial statements and schedules.
