Job summary

SEI Investments in Dublin, Ireland, is seeking an Assistant Manager, Fund Accounting for a 12-month FTC in a hybrid role. You will manage a team handling alternative funds, ensuring timely NAVs and strong client service, while mentoring junior staff and supporting new business initiatives.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience with alternative fund structures, knowledge of Investran or Geneva, and ACCA would be advantageous.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years’ experience in Alternative funds, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
• Experience in Fund Accounting systems, preferably Investran and/or Geneva.
• Strong knowledge of Alternative fund structures, fund domiciles, regulation and performance calculations.
• Experience coaching/mentoring staff.
• ACCA qualification preferable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior point of contact for clients on accounting matters.
• Ensure timely and accurate NAVs.
• Deliver excellent client service and resolve queries promptly.
• Contribute to root cause analysis and remediation.
• Ensure procedures and controls are followed.
• Train, coach and mentor junior staff.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and support new business.
• Review fund documents before launches and identify operational risks.
• Represent SEI and present the administrator’s report at Fund Board Meetings as requested.
