Job summary

HS Financial Technologies is seeking a Fund Accounting Supervisor in Ireland to lead a small team of Fund Accountants and oversee NAV calculations, reconciliations, and pricing. You will ensure accurate reporting and timely delivery under guidance from the Assistant Manager and Manager.

The role emphasizes developing the NAV team, training, and adhering to AML/KYC and internal controls, with active client engagement and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Completed bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or finance.
• 3+ years’ experience in a hedge fund administration firm.
• Intention to actively pursue a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, ACA) would be an advantage but is not required.
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
• IT literate and proficient in MS Office and fund accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Review cash, position and market value reconciliations.
• Address break items on reconciliations in a timely manner.
• Review fund pricing.
• Review corporate actions.
• Review profit and loss reports for reasonableness.
• Review income and expense accruals including fee calculations and trading accruals.
• Review fund trial balance.
• Review profit allocations to fund investors.
• Review compliance with HSFT defined checklists, procedures and controls.
• Collaborate with internal service departments to address fund issues.
• Escalate fund accounting issues to Fund Accounting Assistant Manager.
• Respond to client queries promptly.
• Assist in the audit process including preparation of fund financial statements.
• Mentor Fund Accountants and monitor performance.
• Ensure deadlines are met consistently.
