Job summary

U.S. Bank in Ireland seeks an Alternative Investments Associate/Accountant to support accounting, administration and investor servicing for hedge funds and private equity funds. You will calculate NAVs, maintain records and prepare statements for investors.

The role requires GAAP knowledge, high accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with deadlines in a hybrid work model. Strong communication and Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• GAAP knowledge and good understanding of accounting basics.
• Ability to identify and resolve/escalate complex problems with minimal guidance.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Calculate net asset values and disseminate information to the investment advisor and investors.
• Act as primary fund accountant on multiple relationships in accordance with GAAP.
• Record trade information, income/expense activity and apply valuation of securities.
• Enter and reconcile investor contributions and withdrawals in the partnership accounting system.
• Allocate fund profits to investors for statements.
• Prepare fund financial statements, audit and tax schedules.
