Job summary

GPC - Global Professional Consultants seeks an Electrical Construction Manager for a Data Centre project in Amsterdam. You will report to the Electrical Project Manager and receive strong support and career progression opportunities.

The role requires managing engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors while ensuring safety, quality, and profitability. A proven track record with M&E contractors in Ireland or the UK is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Building Services Engineering or Electrical Engineering or relevant trade background.
• 5+ years experience as Electrical Construction Manager.
• Must have worked with an M&E Contractor in Ireland or the UK.
• Proven track record leading teams on large projects with tight deadlines.
• Must have EU or UK passport.

Responsibilities

• Manage Electrical Engineers, Supervisors and Sub-Contractors.
• Manage Electrical QAQC in line with project QA Manager.
• Coordinate design consultants and electrical contractors.
• Plan, program, and report all electrical construction activities.
• Oversee the electrical element of the project to ensure high quality installation.
• Ensure compliance with programme, materials, quality and safety issues.
• Lead a large team to meet project requirements and deadlines.
• Uphold safety and quality standards.
• Drive project profitability.
