Job summary

O’ Gríofa Woodcraft Ltd is seeking an experienced Lead Carpenter / Working Team Leader to join our busy joinery manufacturing team in West Clare. This hands-on role involves leading and coordinating work on the factory floor while working alongside the production team.

You will manufacture internal door sets, skirting and architrave and ensure workmanship meets our high standards, with responsibilities to allocate daily workloads, read drawings and solve production issues.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years carpentry/joinery experience.
• No formal qualification required.
• Experience leading or supervising a team is advantageous.
• Ability to read drawings and work from measurements.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable and hands-on.

We are looking for an experienced Lead Carpenter / Working Team Leader to join our busy joinery manufacturing team in West Clare. This is a hands‑on position for an experienced carpenter who will work alongside the production team while taking responsibility for leading and coordinating work on the factory floor.

The Role

The successful candidate will be involved in the manufacture and preparation of:

• Internal door sets
• Skirting and architrave
• General made to measure joinery products

As Lead Carpenter, you will work as part of the team while also helping to organise daily workloads, maintain production standards and ensure work is completed accurately and efficiently.
