Job summary

Stephen Carr Architects in Wexford is seeking a Senior Architectural Technologist to lead project delivery from planning through to construction. You will work with the architect and project team to ensure projects are delivered to a high standard.

The role involves detailed design, tender, construction stages, and coordination of consultants, with opportunities to contribute to interior design schemes while adhering to Irish Building Regulations and BCMS processes.

Qualifications

Minimum 9 years’ experience as Architectural Technologist.
3+ years in a senior/independent capacity leading detailed design and construction stages.
Proven ability to manage smaller projects independently.
Designer and PSDP experience with Preliminary Health & Safety Plans and coordination of Safety Files.
Strong knowledge of Irish Building Regulations and BCMS processes.
Experience coordinating consultants (civil/structural, fire & access, M&E).

Responsibilities

Lead delivery of projects from detailed design through to completion.
Work closely with the architect and project team to ensure high standards.
Coordinate consultants during detailed design and construction across disciplines.
Contribute to interior design schemes where appropriate.
