Job summary

Harbourne Associates in Dublin is seeking a Technical Design Manager/Architectural Technologist to join our growing team, providing technical support across roofing and waterproofing from design through to completion.

You will collaborate with Technical Management, Sales & Business Development, Design and Site Teams, producing BIM/Revit models, drawings and specifications, and ensuring compliance with building regulations.

Qualifications

• A relevant qualification in Architectural Technology, Civil Engineering, Construction Studies, Environmental Science or related discipline.
• Experience working with architectural drawings, technical specifications and/or BIM/Revit.
• Understanding of construction processes, materials and building regulations.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proactive problem-solving and site-based adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical support to customers and project stakeholders across roofing and waterproofing systems.
• Coordinate accurate and timely responses to technical queries and project requirements.
• Provide guidance to customers to ensure projects comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Carry out site inspections on both new and existing projects, providing practical technical support and solutions.
• Produce bespoke project drawings and technical specifications with a high level of accuracy.
• Prepare and review BIM/Revit models, ensuring they integrate effectively with project workflows and architectural and structural requirements.
• Support the development of technical content for NBS, company websites and external marketing materials.
• Participate in design meetings with architects, engineers, contractors and other industry professionals.

Location: Dublin (3 days in office/2 days WFH)

The Opportunity

My client are a leading provider of innovative construction solutions and are looking to recruit a Technical Design Manager/Architectural Technologist to join their growing team.

This is an exciting opportunity providing technical support across a diverse customer base, including architects, surveyors, contractors, local authorities and end clients.

You will work closely with Technical Management, Sales & Business Development, Design, Operations and Site Field Technicians, providing technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle — from initial design and specification through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

About You

You will ideally have:
