Job summary

THE LOGISKILLS GROUP in Dublin is seeking a Last Mile Technical Installation Manager to oversee installation operations across Ireland and international sites. The role combines fieldwork with office-based planning to ensure on-time, compliant delivery and commissioning to the highest standards.

You will lead installation crews, manage client relationships, and drive continuous improvement in quality, safety, and efficiency, with occasional international travel for large-scale projects.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Experience in white glove, technical distribution, or installation management preferred.
• Experience managing teams and multi-site rollouts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation operations and day-to-day management of installation crews.
• Coordinate end-to-end project roll-outs across Ireland and internationally.
• Ensure safety, quality, and client satisfaction for all deliveries and commissioning.

Job Description

Title: Last Mile Technical Installation Manager Location: Dublin 11 Terms: Full-time permanent, office-based with regular site visits and fieldwork Package: €65-70k Our client provides specialist services in global technical distribution of Life Science equipment and consumables, including the movement of complex hazardous materials internationally. The Last Mile Technical Installation Manager will oversee the technical installation operations, overseeing the day-to-day management of installation crews and the implementation of complex, end-to-end project roll-outs across Ireland and internationally. This role is critical to ensure that all service level agreements are exceeded for both new and existing clients. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the delivery process, from initial assessment and planning through to post-delivery review, ensuring that clients' equipment is delivered, positioned, and commissioned to the highest standards. The position will require some flexibility to respond to urgent installation needs and customer escalations. The role may also require occasional international travel for large-scale projects. Required Qualifications & Experience:

• A Qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Manual handling certification
• Minimum 5 years' experience in white glove, technical distribution, or installation management
• Good Microsoft Suite skills (Word, Excel)
• Experienced in handling commercial conversations with clients and ensuring profitable work at all times
• Experience in managing teams
• Experience with project management, (multi-site rollouts and complex installations is an advantage)
• Experience in last-mile delivery operations
• Track record of successfully managing customer relationships and service level agreements
• Experience with fleet management and resource allocation
