Job summary

WSP Land in Ireland seeks a Property & Valuation Surveyor to join our land team, delivering valuation, compensation, land acquisition and related services on major infrastructure projects across Ireland and the UK.

You will work with land consultants, project managers and engineers to support acquisition, CPOs, and land access, while reviewing title information and advising on risks.

Based in Dublin with hybrid working, this role requires travel across Ireland and mentoring of junior colleagues.

Qualifications

• Degree and professional grounding in property or surveying disciplines.
• Experience with valuation, compensation and land acquisition in infrastructure.
• Familiarity with CPO, Railway/Motorway orders or related processes.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Supporting valuation, compensation, acquisition and commercial property services across Ireland.
• Undertaking valuations of residential, commercial, and development properties.
• Preparing compensation assessments for compulsory purchase acquisitions.
• Negotiating land and property acquisitions with landowners and agents.
• Liaising with contractors and teams to coordinate land access for surveys and works.
• Reviewing title information and land registration records to identify rights and interests.
• Supporting statutory acquisition processes including CPOs and Railway/Motorway Orders.
• Advising project teams on valuation risks and acquisition strategies.
• Representing WSP in client meetings and stakeholder engagements; travel across Ireland.
