Irish Public Sector Organization in Athlone is seeking a Land Surveying Mapping Executive (GIS & Property) to join the Strategic Property team. The role is permanent with hybrid work (3 days onsite) and travel across Ireland.

Responsibilities include surveying sites, marking boundaries, preparing maps for transactions, and supporting land acquisitions. ArcGIS and AutoCAD experience are advantageous for this hands-on position.

Formación

• Qualified Engineer, Surveyor or Architect.
• 3+ years' relevant experience.
• Full driving license and willingness to travel Ireland-wide.
• GIS experience is beneficial but not essential.

An established Irish public sector organization is seeking a Land Surveying Mapping Executive (GIS & Property) to join its Strategic Property team based in Athlone.

• Permanent position | Hybrid – 3 days onsite
• Athlone, with site travel across Ireland
• Salary: €52,546 starting salary with annual increments

This is a hands‑on surveying and property role supporting the management, acquisition and sale of land across Ireland.

What you'll be doing

• Surveying sites and land using GPS equipment
• Marking and verifying property boundaries
• Preparing maps for property sales and transactions
• Completing Declarations of Identity
• Supporting land acquisitions and site due diligence
• Preparing Land Registry compliant maps
• Working with engineers, consultants and other property stakeholders
• Maintaining property mapping and GIS information

What we're looking for

• Qualified Engineer, Surveyor or Architect
• 3+ years' relevant experience
• Strong surveying and property/land experience
• Experience working with boundaries, site surveys or property mapping
• Full driving license
• Comfortable travelling to sites across Ireland

GIS experience is beneficial but not essential and can be developed in the role.

Experience with ArcGIS, AutoCAD, conveyancing, title registration or property transactions would be an advantage.

The role offers stable working hours, hybrid working, strong annual leave, public-sector benefits and paid mileage/travel expenses.

Salary: Appointment is made at €52,546. Annual increments apply, progressing through the salary scale to €75,472, with long-service increments up to €77,286 (after 3 years satisfactory service at the maximum of the range).
